Tender description

The requirement is for a digital engagement tool which will address key food waste prevention behaviours in the home to replace the public engagement events that cannot take place at the moment. The digital solution should be free to use by residents, easily accessible on different platforms and currently exist beyond proof of concept. o The solution should collect data and use this to provide on-going feedback to residents to facilitate behaviour change, including: o Advice on key food waste reduction behaviours o Types (and ideally weight in kgs) of food wasted o Evidence of how food waste has been prevented o The solution should also act as a means for the County Council to communicate new messages with users in accordance with the feedback received from use of the digital tool by residents. • What is the aim of the early engagement - At this stage the County Council is looking to establish which suitable suppliers exist in the marketplace and: o An outline of their suggestions for a solution to meet the need (described below) o their thoughts on any potential issues o feedback around what can be achieved with different budget levels (current budget is £12,000) o Please note, at this stage we are not looking for quotes for this work.
