Design and construction of youth centre

Tender description

The Parish Council wishes to procure a 6-bay demountable installed and fully connected to utilities to be used as a youth centre. The successful bid will be for a full turnkey solution; planning permission, connection to utilities, delivery, erection and installation. The building will be located on the David Smith Memorial Field which is to the rear of the Village hall, 158 Main Road, Broomfield Chelmsford CM1 7AH. There are several possible locations within that field and guidance will be needed to find the best fit for the building. Utilities may be piped-in from the exisiting buildings or may be accessed from a residential street that runs east-west along the southern edge of the field. Additional information: Although the council has agreed that the building will be located in the David Smith Memorial Field, the precise location will depend on advice concerning the connection of utilities. There are two provisional locations within the field, but the successful bid will define the best location based on the council's preferences versus the expedience of utility supplies. The building will require kitchen and toilet facilities and may optionally have breakout rooms and storage facilities.
