Control Hub is NGN's current system for DSP contract assurance, used both by NGN and supplier to ensure visibility on plant/equipment/vehicles and personnel qualifications/STC/training records. NGN intend to extend the agreement with Control Hub for a minimum of 2 years until a solution is developed in house encompassing all assurance activities required by the DSP framework contract and work allocation to suppliers. Control Hub is NGN's current system for DSP contract assurance, used both by NGN and Supplier to ensure visibility on plant/equipment/vehicles and personnel qualifications/STC/training records. This system also feeds in to NGN Occupational Health Surveillance programme. NGN issue work through the system via Control Hub, project designs and all utility plans, customer information including vulnerable customer details. P&R workload is requested via Control Hub and service record cards and all reinstatement measures are also recorded on Control Hub by contractor engineers. NGN intend to extend the agreement with Control Hub for a minimum of 2 years until a solution is developed encompassing all assurance activities required by the DSP framework contract and work allocation to suppliers and NGN cannot risk operational delivery on the Repex programme and contract assurance whilst an S4 solution is being developed. NGN are unable to go out to market for this requirement as no other companies can undertake the scope of requirements as this software has been developed specifically to meet NGN's needs.
