Tender description

Development of a novel therapeutic antibody for Covid-19. This project is part of a rapid Covid SFI response call where there is an urgency to develop new therapies and solutions to tackle the current Covid-19 pandemic. This project is part of a rapid Covid SFI response call where there is an urgency to develop new therapies and solutions to tackle the current Covid-19 pandemic. A research agreement has been developed between UU, Fusion Antibodies, Queens University Belfast and Trinity College Dublin in the delivery of this Covid project. The proposed drug therapy is the first of its kind. It is a novel dual biological antibody therapy which will act as an anti-viral and anti-inflammatory agent.
