Tender description
The project consists of the construction of a new crematorium facility of single storey construction, containing a single chapel, offices, staff areas and associated civil/landscaping works including a memorial garden and pond, car parking and a double right hand turn lane for access from the Doagh Road (to the new crematorium and to Ballyearl Arts and Leisure Centre). Crematorium facility which will include: construction of a brick building (950 m2) including chapel, offices and staff areas, utility provision and associated civil/landscaping works (4.2 ha) including a memorial garden and pond, car parking (100 spaces) and a double right hand turn lane for access from the Doagh Road. The facility will incorporate a number of sustainability features including photovoltaics (PVs) and sustainable drainage systems (SuDS). A BREEAM rating of ‘Excellent’ is being targeted.
