The purpose of this brief is to secure the creation of a high quality and innovative digital, cultural programme that enables communities and groups local to Wednesbury High Street greater engagement in, and knowledge about, the heritage of the town. The programme is part of Historic England's National High Street Heritage Action Zones which is a nationwide initiative designed to secure lasting improvements to our historic high streets for the communities who use them. It is funded by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government and run by Historic England. One of the major aims of the programme is to help people feel proud of where they live.
