Tender description

To print personalised letters containing name, address and a unique reference/serial number for each record/person invited to take apart in the Covid-19 Infection Survey (CIS). The ONS Covid-19 Infection Survey (CIS) is the flagship surveillance study for Covid-19. This contract supports this through the provision of printing and posting respondent materials throughout the period 1 July 2020 – 31 January 2021, with the option to extend until 31 October 2021. The requirements are summarised as including: The contract requires letters and leaflets to be sent to selected households on a weekly basis. Letters are to be enclosed with one generic Patient Leaflet using Royal Mail 1st class unless agreed otherwise between the ONS and HH Associates. A datafile providing information for distribution and mailings is to be supplied each week via MoveIT. The file will contain the respondents address, full name and a unique reference number. Specific deliverables to be provided are: • outer envelopes — C4, gummed, window-wallet, on 100 gsm white uncoated overprinted in black only to face and flap. • letter (Personalised) — A4 2pp (297 x 210 mm) 4 colour duplex (variable colour – 20-30 % coverage) printed on 100 gsm white uncoated. Trim to size, ready for enclosing. • patient leaflets (non-personalised) — A4 12pp (297 x 210 mm finished) 4 colour litho plus sealer to throughout printed on 130 gsm silk. Fold, stitch and trim to size, ready for enclosing.
