Minor Disabilities Adaptations Works

<p>Cumbria County Council wish to commission a service to provide minor adaptive works for people who have a disability. The aim is to improve the customer&rsquo;s safety and independence in their own home. The properties will essentially be private domestic dwellings. The cost of each individual works will be less than &pound;1,500.00. The adaptive works contract will be tendered on a 2 + 1 basis as a countywide provision. Note that Adult Social Care operations occur within localities by Division i.e. Carlisle &amp; Eden, Allerdale &amp; Copeland and South Lakeland &amp; Furness. The total value of the contract is approximately &pound;250,000 per annum with a roughly equal value in each division.
