Tender description

A contract has been awarded via the business and technical services marketplace DPS OJEU contract ref 2019-S 228-559692. delivery of the IPT Phase 1 roadmap report, indicating future IPT activities that could be undertaken as a multi-year programme of work in Phase 2 and on achievement of the Phase 1 to undertake agreed activities under Phase 2. Phase 1 will entail RWM approval a detailed costed work programme to complete the activities included within the Roadmap. Thereafter work on Phase 2 tasks will commence and be progressed to completion. The Phase 1 roadmap will be a consultant-approved report to RWM, delivered in FY20-21, that will present reasoned and prioritised plans for a structured programme of work, to be undertaken in Phase 2 of the project, that will attain the overall project objective of the development of safety case in consideration of non-radiological pollutants in the context of a UK GDF. The duration of the contract is not expected to exceed 5 years. To appoint a single organisation ‘the Consultant’ which may be a consortium (or a lead supplier) who will deliver the scope of work, drawing on expertise from a range of specialist sub-contractors as required. The Consultant is required to deliver the IPT Phase 1 roadmap report, indicating future IPT activities that could be undertaken subsequently as a multi-year programme of work in Phase 2 of the project, and subsequently, on achievement of the Phase 1 project gate, to undertake agreed activities under Phase 2 of the IPT. Phase 1 will require the Consultant to develop for RWM approval a detailed costed work programme to complete the activities included within the Roadmap.
