Tender Seeking Panel of Building contractors to participate in the SEAI Home Retrofit Schemes 2021 / 2022

Home Energy Grants CLG are seeking a panel of experienced Building Contractors to carry out Home Energy Retrofit upgrades to homes throughout Ireland under the SEAI National Home Retrofit scheme including the Midlands Retrofit strand and the Better Energy Communities schemes for both 2021 and 2022. The key goals of this project are to reduce energy usage within homes and communities, generate local employment, increase user comfort and help with the Energy Transition of retrofitting 500,000 over the next 10 years under the Climate Action Plan. Major emphasis on this project is the working within a "Live" environment. the majority of homeowners that participate in the scheme will continue to live in their homes for the duration of the works. As a result major emphasis is placed with the main contractor to identify their ability to 1) Project manage the works, 2) Ensure all health and safety guidelines are adhered to 3),Covid 19 risk assessments 4) Ability to deliver the project within tight time frames 5) To ensure full customer satisfaction at all times. 6) Ensure adequate training is provided of all newly installed technologies to the homeowners 7) To promote Energy awareness at all times.
