QUANTITATIVE AND QUALITATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE CULTURAL SECTOR IN THE WEST MIDLANDS

Tender description

The purpose of this project is to provide both quantitative and qualitative analysis of the cultural sector in the West Midlands to provide an evidence base for future development of the sector in the region, as well as maximise opportunities around major events and other place-based approaches. The cultural sector, as part of the region's wider creative industries, is a key component of the Local Industrial Strategy and the Creative Industries Sector Plan. This proposal is focused on the cultural sector infrastructure & assets, economic impact, tourism visitor data, employment, skills and diversity. The key focus is to produce a pre-Covid baseline, although estimates for changes and future impacts should also be included where relevant. We are looking for a consultant, organisation or consortium with deep understanding of and connectivity with the cultural sector in the West Midlands, as well as the skills, knowledge and ability to deliver the required outcomes.
