Tender description

The Defence Equipment Sales Authority (DESA) handles the disposal of all materiel that can generate revenue within the UK and overseas. DESA requires a sales management and customer relationship management tool to provide end to end visibility, auditable compliance and MI for all equipment sales. The Key User Requirements are summarised below: 1) Unite Capital Equipment sales and commodity sales workstreams in one application; 2) Track all sales activity, providing accurate and current management information, to facilitate intelligent business decisions; 3) Allow tracking of levels of inventory against NSN (NATO Stock Number) and tracking of items that do not have an NSN against dummy codes; 4) Streamline sales processes, modernising and simplifying the way Delivery Teams/Units declare equipment for collection and sale; 5) Provide a delegated approvals process for sales activity; 6) Allow contractors outside of MODNET to interface with the tool; 7) Allow potential links into other MOD systems.
