GB-Bristol: Woodside development - Horizontal well & drainage

Tender description

Works required for the first stage of developing land at Woodside Nursery into a forest nursery. The horizontal well is to be a water source for irrigation. The outfall and field drainage are to facilitate the growth and harvesting of several million trees by draining excess water from land into a neighbouring lake plus allow interception of drainage water for storage in a reservoir to be installed at a later stage. Works will consist of: Installation of horizontal well, installation of outfall pipe across neighboring land and field drainage, Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
