Contract for the provision of a Review of Integrated Offender Management in Avon and Somerset

Tender description

The Contracting Authority for this procurement is the Police and Crime Commissioner for Avon and Somerset (the "Customer"). The Customer is responsible for setting the direction and budget for Avon and Somerset Constabulary. Avon and Somerset Constabulary is responsible for round the clock policing of 2,000 square miles of South Gloucestershire, Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset (BANES), Somerset and North Somerset, which has a combined population of 1.5 million people. It does so with approximately 2,800 Police Officers, 330 Police Community Support Officers and 310 Special Constables, supported by approximately 2,600 Police Staff. This requirement has been prepared to provide sufficient information for external organisations including universities to tender for a study looking at the Integrated Offender Management provision within Avon and Somerset. Resolve is the Multi Agency Reducing Reoffending Board for Avon and Somerset chaired by the CEO for the Avon and Somerset PCC. Organisations contributing to the board include both Criminal Justice Agencies (Probation, Prisons, Police, Ministry of Justice) and non-criminal justice agencies with responsibility for or vested interest in reducing reoffending (Local Authorities, Public Health, Department for Work and Pensions, Voluntary sector, Community Safety Partnerships). Written proposals are invited from external organisations to address the requirements set out in this document
