Tender description
The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) has awarded multiple contracts for the supply of pharmaceutical products for a UK stockpile of end of life care medicines, intensive care unit (ICU) medicines and antibiotics. The Department of Health and Social Care are managing the procurement on behalf of Public Health England. DHSC conducted an open accelerated procurement exercise under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as amended) to source pharmaceutical products for a UK stockpile of medicines for Covid-19 preparedness. The stockpile covers ICU medicines, antibiotics and end of life care medicines. The contract period for the awarded contracts is for 12 months with the option to extend for up to 2 years.
