Kings Walk Park Play Equipment - Leicester Forest East Parish Council

Tender description

Requirements: Leicester Forest East Parish Council are seeking a contractor to design, supply and install a dynamic and inclusive range of play equipment on their Kings walk Park. Detailed designs are required at the levels of circa £40,000, £60,000 and £80,000 for comparison. The quotations must include removal of all spoils/rubbish and a welfare unit should be supplied and collected. A site meeting is a requirement. Safety: All equipment must comply with any applicable legislation and RoSPA requirements and appropriate warranties must be supplied. The contractor shall provide evidence that they can meet the requirements of the CDM Regulations and any necessary risk assessments, and method statements must be provided. All precautions to protect the integrity of the site and adjoining paths, car park and properties must be taken. The public must not have access to any of the contractor's items and materials being used as part of the contract. The contractor shall safeguard the works with temporary barricading of a "Heras" type of at least 2 metres in height. The fence panels shall be constructed so that they deter climbing and will be anchored into freestanding concrete/rubber blocks, the panels locked to prevent unauthorised access. The fence to be installed before commencement of works and removed from the site following completion of all works including ground reinstatements.
