C9 - Swindon Specialist Early Years Service - Market Engagement

You are invited to attend an online Market Engagement Event regarding the proposed new Early Years Service in Swindon. Overview: The current Specialist Early Years Service is a combination of a specialist nursery provided by the Koalas charity, based at the Saltway Centre, owned by SBC. Permission was given at a commercial surgery to extend the current arrangements until September 2021. Early Years service is the in-house Portage and Special Tots service delivered by Swindon Borough Council who share the same premises as Koala’s at the Saltway Centre. The service is part of the SEND and Early Years provision and the plan is to re-commission the service in line with the SEND strategy of providing outreach to mainstream settings to support them to be inclusive to young children with special educational needs. Swindon Borough Council is hosting a market engagement event online via Microsoft Teams to engage with suppliers on the current market position and what Swindon would need to do, to ensure we get the procurement right first time.
