The Digital Futures Fund is a collaboration between The Prince’s Trust and the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), forming part of a Government funded skills pilot called the Future Workforce Fund – a ground-breaking partnership which is delivering a transformational programme that sees businesses, private investors and government co-invest into young people from Greater Manchester. The Digital Futures Fund is seeking applications from organisations or consortia who can deliver creative approaches to supporting young people aged 16-25 in developing their digital skills and helping them secure and sustain employment or training within the digital industry, for those who may otherwise not have had the opportunity to access the sector. Employers must be involved in designing the training on offer – to ensure that any courses offered, or training provided is appropriate to the needs of the digital industry and deliver the skills they need to recruit.
