Mid Devon District Council is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified supplier to deliver a customer relationship digital delivery platform. Mid Devon District Council is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified supplier to deliver a customer relationship digital delivery platform. The Council is looking to procure a platform that will enable customers to register a personal account and provide secure access to information about property or personal circumstances including viewing documents and report issues or request services. The look and feel of the portal should blend seamlessly with the main council website and is expected to work on devices of any size, with a focus on mobile first. The portal must be capable of integrating with third party specialist portals, including payment and ensure that the customer experience is seamless. Additionally there is a requirement for the customer enquiries to be available to back office staff to ensure a seamless service regardless of the channel. Integration opportunities with other council systems is essential with a view to future automation. To facilitate a digital first approach the solution requires a flexible forms engine supported by workflow to enable easy and rapid development of online forms and integration with the CRM. In order to enable increased mobile working the platform should be able to deliver tasks to mobile devices that can be started, updated and completed – offline if necessary. To ensure that strategic planning of services is well informed, the council requires comprehensive management information and therefore the system must be able to record and report activity at a detailed level across the platform.
