Specification for the appointment of organisations who can deliver pre-employment programmes and employability courses in Greater Manchester, to help drive forward key recommendations from the Greater Manchester Youth Task Force. The GM Youth Employment Fund is designed to pilot and test new approaches to employability support which will remove barriers to employment for young people, and we are specifically seeking proposals from organisations or consortia who can deliver innovative pre-employment programmes and test and learn employability courses that will help young people aged 16-25 in accessing employment or apprenticeships. The Fund is seeking applications from organisations who can design and deliver targeted employability programmes which will provide a meaningful impact in order to address some of the key themes and issues that have been highlighted by young people across Greater Manchester. Funding will support the development of new programmes and initiatives that are aligned to at least one of the four thematic areas within the young person’s guarantee.
