Tender description

This requirement is for the provision of an integrated relocation, furniture installation, remedial run and storage service across the business portfolio of head office and operational properties. A number of competitive suppliers are needed, due to the scale and nature of the moves programme, with works often occurring simultaneously. The estimated value is between GBP 1-GBP 4 850 000 for the four year duration and there is one lot. The maximum number of suppliers is four unless there is a tie break in the evaluation scores in which case five will be allowed. Transport for London (TfL) has an ongoing requirement to deliver furniture and office equipment services and the relocation of staff within the TfL portfolio. This requirement is managed by the estates management projects and accommodation team and also includes relocations, installations, remedial and storage services. Stock will be held by the suppliers and will include furniture, office equipment and white goods. The expected length of the framework agreements will be 4 years. (a) Transport for London (TfL) is a complex organisation operating both as an executive agency of the Greater London Authority (GLA) under the direction of the Mayor of London and as provider of transport services. (c) The awarding authority reserves the right withdraw from the procurement process and/or not to award any contract(s) as a result of the competition called by this notice and the awarding authority shall not be liable for any costs or expenses incurred by any candidates in considering and/or responding to the procurement process. (d) All discussions and meetings will be conducted in English. Tenders and supporting documents must be priced in GBP and all payments under the contract will be made in sterling. (e) Price is not the only award criterion and all criteria are stated only in the procurement documents.
