Tender description

Mini Competition run from Education Employability Training Dynamic Purchasing System. . This mini-competition seeks bids for the delivery of an employability focused personal development group to prepare Participants for the world of work and support their progression to positive destinations. The Programme will include the following key elements: - Personal and social skills development; - Employability skills - Health and wellbeing . The programme should be accessible to young people aged 15-19 who are in their last 6 months of schooling and reside in Biggar, Lanark, Lesmahagow, Carluke and Larkhall of areas South Lanarkshire. . Welcome opportunities for young people to achieve accreditation through recognised certification and to take part in some form of work experience through their time on the programme. . Induction sessions should be offered prior to the programme commencing to allow young people/staff to meet and give an overview of the programme. Parents/carers should be invited to this, parental engagement should be demonstrated throughout the programme.
