Tender description

The purpose of this prior information notice (PIN), is to alert the market to this upcoming opportunity, to ensure the market is now in a position to tender and consult with the market prior to publication of a framework agreement for the short term hire of vehicles (self-drive). The framework agreement is for Hampshire County Council (HCC-the lead Authority), Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service, Hampshire Constabulary and specific other public sector and charitable organisations based within the boundary of Hampshire. The framework will be divided into separate lot covering areas in Hampshire with sub lots for vehicle categories; multiple vehicle types from a small car up to a 7.5 tonne truck and anything in between, although minibus hire is the bulk of the need. The current estimated total spend for the existing framework is valued at GBP 2 million over the life of the framework. As part of the process, HCC are looking to engage with providers who would be interested in this framework, and/or have experience of delivering similar contracts to the public sector by completing a short online questionnaire. The purpose of this market insight questionnaire is to gather information for the development of a framework agreement whereby deployment of hire of vehicles self drive may take place by calling-off and placing an order for services as and when required. As part of the process, we are looking to engage with providers who would be interested in delivering this service, and/or have experience of delivering similar services by completing a short online questionnaire.
