Tender description

(a) Demolition works including : • Remove walls, ceilings, concrete slabs, concrete stair, doors, stairs, windows • Remove 3No. strong rooms with concrete slabs over • Remove fire escape corridor, while leaving wall adjoining office space in factory floor intact until stage 2 of the works • Break out floors and paths for drainage pipes as indicated. • Break out opes for new doors as required • Remove porch as shown • Remove part of the existing staff entrance porch as shown • Remove and retain existing kitchen fittings, to be re-used • Remove all redundant pipework, drains, brackets and fittings • Remove all electrical and mechanical services as per M+E Specification & schedules (b) Construction works including full supply & fit of: • Construct new block walls, partitions, ceilings, doors, skirting, windows etc. as indicated • Raise floor level • Floor leveling compound where floor level has been lowered • New sanitaryware, supply and fit, and all associated drainage and hot and cold water supply • Fit new sink units for factory hand-washing, supplied by Cambus Medical, and all associated drainage and hot and cold water supply • New kitchen fit out, to include re-plumbing all existing fittings to new locations. This will include 3No. sinks, with and all associated drainage and hot and cold water supply, dish washer, heavy duty cable for cook, hob and 6No, double sockets to selected kitchen locations. • Re-plastering of walls, reveals and ceilings to make good damage caused by removal of walls, ceilings, floors, doors, windows and stair • New floor finishes, including epoxy floor finish to all factory floor / engineering stores, production areas, carpet tiles to all office rooms and safety vinyl to all sanitary facilities. • Repaint existing and new • New ceilings as shown • Finishes as per schedule • New windows & doors • Supply, Install & commission new AOV (c) Services • New electrical layout to building as per M+E specification • Include for builders works and attendances
