Tender description

North Yorkshire County Council is setting up a new company called NY Highways Limited, to undertake and deliver all highway maintenance activities (e.g. repair & reconstruction schemes, integrated transport schemes, maintenance works, lining, surface dressing, etc.) from 01 June 2021. As part of the Council’s investment strategy for NY Highways Limited, we want to focus on quality and whole life costs of PPE and workwear products to allow the NY Highways’ workforce to operate effectively across our network. As such, we want to explore innovative and / or market leading products as part of our internal review process for PPE and workwear. With this in mind, the Council are seeking expressions of interest from those within the market who would be interested in providing samples of their innovative / market leading products to allow the Council to arrange trials of the products across our depots.
