University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to engage with suppliers of laboratory information management systems (LIMS). The authority wishes to gain a greater understanding of the capabilities and capacity of the market for LIMS solutions and to obtain feedback from the market on its draft requirements. The authority wishes to engage with suppliers interested in this requirement. The authority has prepared a draft specification of requirements and requests that interested suppliers provide indication of their ability to meet these requirements. The authority has also prepared a more general pre-market engagement questionnaire, seeking more general feedback from the market on the draft requirements and possible routes to market. The authority is also requesting indicative pricing. The purpose of this pre-market engagement exercise is to allow the authority to assess the capabilities of the market and to refine its specification and approach to the procurement of this requirement.
