The requirement is the supply of haemostatic gauze to the UK MoD. The contract will have a term of 48 months (4 years). It is anticipated that for the full 48 month term the anticipated value will be circa GBP 2 000 000 to GBP 3 750 000. These values are approximate only and are based on the most recent historical usage information, with a forecasted level of growth. The volumes provided are for guidance only and are not a guarantee of business. The requirement is the supply of haemostatic gauze to the UK MoD. In September 2016, Defence Medical Services undertook a detailed review with the aim of identifying the specification for the ideal topical haemostatic dressing and to summarise the contemporary evidence behind the market leading products in order to inform an evidence based decision with reference to future purchasing. The findings of the report remain appropriate and the clinical advice remains that any of the following three products, would be considered a suitable option for use by Defence.
