Tender description

Support and maintenance for ICT system. This notice relates to the provision of support and maintenance for an existing ICT system. The contracting authority has utilised Regulation 32(5) (b) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as amended) which provides a derogation from the obligation to competitively tender for a contract for goods or services over the EU Threshold where the works, supplies or services are required as per the below: (b) for additional deliveries by the original supplier which are intended either as a partial replacement of supplies or installation or as the extension of existing supplies or installations where a change of supplier would oblige the contracting authority to acquire supplies having different technical characteristics which would result in incompatibility or disproportionate technical difficulties in operation and maintenance.
