Individual Contracts (291 total) for transport of school pupils with Additional Support Needs (ASN), each with a single provider for academic year 2020/21 only. . These contracts importantly provide continuity for this vulnerable group of pupils during these unprecedented times. Note that longer term arrangements will be subject to a future, separate, tendering exercise. Requirements: Each Individual Contract requires a Driver and vehicle to transport a pupil / or pupils to and from school. Some individual Contracts require an Escort to accompany the pupil. . Some Individual Contracts have special requirements i.e. need for Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle, Car-Seats, Clamps, Ramps, and/or Tail Lifts. Bespoke arrangements pertaining to the pupil or vehicle that must be observed. . There are no guarantees regarding the life span of any individual Contract; each is dependent on the pupil circumstances. . All Contracts must be carried out in accordance with the Councils General Conditions of Contract and ASN Special Conditions of Contract . Drivers will be required to provide documentary evidence to the Council for: All Insurances specified. . PVG disclosure for Driver(s) and Escort(s) is essential. . All vehicle/driver documentation, including Current MOT, Road tax and Driving Licence is required.
