Repair and maintenance services. St Mungo's are seeking to appoint a main contractor to deliver the replacement of ventilation systems throughout 1 Hilldrop Road. Mechanical ventilation systems are in place to serve the following key areas: St Mungo’s Community Housing Association (‘St Mungo’s’) has undergone an assessment on the condition of the ventilation systems and having undertaken independent advice surrounding the current condition of the plant, developed proposals and designs for the complete renewal of these assets. The principle aim of this project is to appoint a main contractor, in accordance with the Harley Haddow specification documentation, to deliver the replacement of ventilation systems throughout 1 Hilldrop Road. — commercial catering kitchen, — bathroom facilities for residents and staff accommodation, — to serve the large communal lodge facility. The property at Hilldrop Road is a registered care home for men who are aged 50 and over with severe alcohol misuse needs and related physical and mental health conditions. It is located in a converted church in Islington and holds 29 bed spaces. The property has 3 storeys overall with a small basement room housing commercial boiler plant and lift motor. It is staffed 24 hours a day with specialist care workers supporting the residents in a variation support needs.
