Tender description

Lot 1: Support for adults with care needs — this contract is for the provision of money management and cash handling services for adults with social care needs, living in Brighton and Hove; Lot 2: Council tenants and leaseholders — this contract is for the provision of a specialist debt and money advice service. The service will be provided to any of the Council’s tenants or leaseholders who need support to resolve personal debt problems and/or benefit issues in order to maximise household income and enable tenants and leaseholders to pay their council rent or mortgage and council tax. Please see the guidance in the tender documents for more detail. This service is for the provision of money management and cash handling services for adults living in Brighton and Hove with social care needs. This service also includes provision for a small number of adults with social care needs placed by Brighton and Hove City Council in emergency accommodation out of the city. The service will be provided to adults in the community who for reasons of physical or mental capacity, need support in managing their personal finances or accessing their money. This specification details the requirements of the service, which is for the provision of specialist debt and money advice.. The service will be provided to any of the Council’s tenants or leaseholders who need support to resolve personal debt problems and/or benefit issues in order to maximise household income.
