Tender description

Improvement works on Boundary Roundabout and adjoining Roads; Talbot Avenue, Boundary Road, Wallisdown Road and Gillett Road, Bournemouth. The works will include: Removal of kerbing, edgings, various street furniture including illuminated/non-illuminated signs and bollards. Some items will require electrical connections/Disconnections and Transfers. Removal of Tree stumps/roots and embankments in central island of roundabout Removal of footway and carriageway to maximum depths of 400mm. Installation of pipework drains and gullies and the associated connection works. Ducting, cabling and electrical works. Full depth carriageway construction, overlay, plaining and inlay. Footway Widening, verge buildouts and new central/splitter islands. Installation of street furniture including benches, bollards, illuminated and non-illuminated signs, sign posts, street lighting columns and lanterns, and bus shelters. Landscaping including planting of trees and shrubs and installation of living screen.
