Supply of Vehicle & Plant Parts and Workshop Consumables via a Supplier Managed Inventory Service

Tender description

The Contract includes the supply of vehicle and plant parts including workshop consumables via a supplier managed inventory service. The Contractor provides a ‘One Stop Shop’ for managing the supply of vehicle and plant parts relating to the Council’s fleet and potentially plant and vehicles that are attended by the Councils’ workshop staff but are not owned by the Council. The Contractor shall be responsible for the supply of goods as the preferred but not exclusive Supplier through their own and/or other distribution networks for parts including but not limited to the following: • Body Parts • Chassis Parts • Hydraulic Parts and Oils • Filtration and Lubricants • Electrical and Lighting Components • Engine Parts • Suspension, Transmission and Braking Parts • Fitted Ancillary Equipment Parts including Lifting Equipment, Pressure Vessels, Sweeper Gear, Mowing gear, brushes, skirts • Workshop Consumables The Contractor shall provide for the ‘on-request’ supply of Vehicle and Plant Parts on an imprest and as required basis to meet the daily demands of the Vehicle Workshops. The Contractor shall supply parts as and when required by the Council’s authorised officers.
