Tender description

Midlothian Council is leading the procurement for a coordinator to deliver the activities within Midlothian Science Zone. Midlothian Council are leading on this procurement on behalf on Midlothian Science Zone Steering Group. The group are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Project Manager to lead the delivery of a range of activities as detailed within the Midlothian Science Zone Business Plan. It is the intention to appoint the successful Applicant on a probationary period of 3 months, initially, and subject to satisfactory performance, this will be extended to 24 months. Thereafter this appointment will be reviewed. This activity will assist with the delivery of local and national economic strategies by helping to maximise the potential of the Life Sciences sector. In particular, the project will build on a number of key strengths and expertise within the Midlothian Science Zone cluster and partners within the steering group.
