Tender description
The Police ICT Company wish to establish a single provider framework agreement for the provisions of software and hardware managed services. This will be for a period of 4 years (with an initial term of 3 years and the option for the Police ICT Company, acting in its sole discretion, to extend for a further 1 year), aiming to commence on 1 April 2021. The Police ICT Company is conducting this procurement as a restricted two stage process. At stage 1 (SQ), the Police ICT Company intends to shortlist a minimum of five (5) highest scoring bidders to proceed to the next stage of the procurement (Stage 2 ITT). The Police ICT Company will take no more than five bidders to proceed to the next stage of the procurement. Full details of the specification and requirements are included in the ITT. Documents will be available to download from Thursday 24 September 2020. The Company requires a provider for the provision of a managed IT service to support its operations and that of the agencies that the Company also supports. The existing contract for the service expires on 1 April 2021. There will be a transition period where the newly appointment provider will be required to work with the incumbent provider, to ensure a smooth transition, so minimising the disruption to the users and the Company.
