You are invited to participate in an online Construction sector engagement and Q&A event hosted by North Lanarkshire Council. Hosted by Pamela Humphries, Head of Planning and Regeneration, the session will include a presentation showing how we intend to renew North Lanarkshire’s Town Centres. Creating attractive mixed use centres that meet the future needs of our communities remains a key priority of North Lanarkshire’s Economic Regeneration Delivery Plan. The presentation will look at the key drivers of change and the Town Visions which are being developed to help guide future development and ensure well planned, sustainable and viable centres. Whilst draft Visions have been established for all of North Lanarkshire’s eight town centres, the presentation will give a brief overview of two – Kilsyth and Wishaw. The session will also provide information of the Pathfinder Programme, an initiative to increase the potential delivery of off the shelf properties to North Lanarkshire Council and to kick start stalling sites within the area.
