Tender description
***PRE-MARKET ENGAGEMENT EXERCISE*** ID 3063278 – Department for the Economy – PME - 2017 ApprenticeshipsNI (AppsNI) – Sustainable Resource Management The Department for the Economy (DfE) is considering expanding the provision of Sustainable Resource Management at Level 2 and Level 3 within its ApprenticeshipsNI provision in Northern Ireland. Prior to considering a procurement exercise, DfE is engaging the market to ascertain if there is sufficient interest for the delivery of these services. The objectives of the Pre-Market Engagement exercise are to: - gain initial supplier awareness, engagement and opinion; - obtain supplier views on key issues relating to the scope and structure of the procurement(s); - understand views on the timescale for mobilisation and deployment of the Project; - provide confidence around deliverability of options; - understand the key issues that are likely to encourage, or discourage, suppliers from bidding; - Ensure that the Project procurement(s) and contracts are attractive to the market and encourage competition, including to potential new entrants to the market in NI; - gain insight to the market possibilities and potential innovative solutions; - understand risks and issues not previously considered; - inform the Outline Business Case; - inform the Procurement Strategy; and - prevent DfE from advertising an unachievable project. The next stage in the process will be considered once this Pre-Market Engagement exercise has been completed. Please note - *ALL COMPLETED QUESTIONNAIRES MUST BE SUBMITTED VIA THE MESSAGING FUNCTION on eTendersNI, within this CFT, BEFORE 15:00 ON THE DATE SPECIFIED BELOW UNDER 'Time-limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate'.
