Tender description

The Trusts need to upgrade the existing superficial/orthovoltage X-Ray therapy system. The proposed upgrade replaces all the key components of the system which were not replaced at the most recent previous upgrade in 2017, with the exception of the applicators which have no moving or electrical parts. This includes the X-ray tube and housing, the cables and the generator. The purpose of the upgrade is to maintain the reliability and serviceability of the equipment, as older equipment naturally tends to fail and it becomes difficult to trace and repair faults.
