Repair and maintenance services

Tender description

The University requires single provider for the provision of a service contract for planned maintenance and repairs to the assets as scheduled in Appendix A (Boilers and Gas fired water heaters). All planned preventative maintenance work is to be carried in accordance with the B and ES document reference SFG20 and all other best practices. DMU require that gas network checks and tightness testing to be carried out every 3 years. The first checks to be carried out during the first year of the contract. The contractor will be required to undertake a full and comprehensive leak check of every gas joint on the gas network and produce a report and a schematic drawings per building, along with tightness testing of the whole system in-line with GasSafe recommendations.
