No. of Specialists to Evaluate 4 Cultural Fit Criteria • Work as part of an agile team, helping others clear priority tasks as required • Deliver value to customers early and often • Be transparant and collaborative in decision making • Take responsibility and ownership of tasks • Challenge the status quo. Assessment Method • Reference • Interview Evaluation Weighting Technical competence 75% Cultural fit 5% Price 20% Questions from Suppliers 1. Is there a current incumbent? No 2. This opportunities appears to be the same as previous advert/post with reference 12531. • Is this the same requirement?• if yes was the first cancelled?• were the profiles presented not suitable? This is a new requirement which has a similar output to the previous opportunity posted, The previous requirement has been awarded. 3. Is there any flexibility in the start date? There’s potentially scope for a week delay in start for the right candidate 4. When available work will take place at Scottish Enterprise, Atlantic Quay (Security clearance required): which level of security clearance? DBS or SC? Baseline Personnel Security Standard level clearance is required for this role 5. In regards to BPSS clearance – Cabinet Office guidance (Part 4,Section 10) states ‘in Government, there is no requirement to renew the BPSS once it has been approved.’ Can you confirm if this includes moving departments or would we need to initiate a new check for this role? I have been advised from the Scottish Government Security team that as long as the BPSS clearance is still valid that it would still stand. 6. We have had a numerous amount of questions regarding security clearance. The requirement says to work onsite, you must have SC, however the Clearance details says it is just BPSS...Please can you confirm if you need to be SC Cleared? See advice from https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/united-kingdom-security-vetting-clearance-levels:There are 5 levels of national security vetting;• Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)• Security Check (SC)• Enhanced Security Check (eSC)• Developed Vetting (DV) including Developed Vetting (DV) Renewal and Enhanced Developed Vetting (eDV).Each type of vetting also requires successful completion of the Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). So by having any of the above levels, BPSS would have been completed as part of that. 7. It is noted, "...remote working is available as long as delivery is not affected".Once COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, what are the expectations in regard to being onsite in Glasgow ?For example, would it be acceptable for the specialist to continue to work remotely with only occasional days onsite, say 2-4 days/month, as long as delivery is not affected?Or are you expecting the specialist will need to be onsite for the majority of the time? There isn't a need to be onsite the majority of the time. We are unable to say how many days a week or month will be needed onsite as this will be dependant on the tasks being completed and may only be identified at short notice. 8. If the specialist currently holds Enhanced DBS would you be comfortable if successful, we support their BPSS application and submit this while work starts remotely, so it is in place when they need to attend site, or is it essential the specialist already holds BPSS when work commences? We will be comfortable on that approach. As long as the winning supplier has the BPSS for attending site.
