Tender description

The service required under this contract is for typical home removals to properties managed and/or maintained by Thirteen Housing Group. These will almost always be within the Tees Valley boundary and occasionally the outlying areas. This may also include provision of temporary storage of items, a complete packing service, which may include dismantling and reassembling items of furniture and boxes and/or containers to enable customers to pack their belongings. The successful tenderer is required to undertake routine removals of residents' possessions from one home to another, which may sometimes include an element of storage in circumstances where it is felt that the Thirteen has an obligation to provide the necessary assistance. There maybe times when moves are required to be undertaken in tandem and hence tenderers will need to satisfy Thirteen that they have sufficient resources and capacity to meet this requirement.
