Tender description

The University have appointed a service provider to act as a Commissioning Management Organisation (CMO) for the commissioning, handover and takeover activities associated with the design and construction of Block BC and BD, partial refurbishment of Block BB and the relocation of circa 450 pieces of specialist equipment. The main objective of this commission is the provision of Commissioning Management Organisation [CMO] Consultancy Services in connection with the Ulster University Greater Belfast Development. The primary purpose of the CMO commission is to ensure the planning, co-ordination and management of the commissioning process in relation to building engineering systems, FF&E, SFE and EPT at the new Ulster University Greater Belfast Development is undertaken in accordance with the requirements and obligations of the respective Services and Works Contracts and the Commissioning Management Plan for the project. The CMO will ensure the planning of the overall commissioning process by the relevant parties fully considers the impact and interdependencies of all GBD work packages in relation to commissioning and advise the client accordingly.
