Tender description

Construction of two no. 600 m 12-lane electronic firing ranges at Fingringhoe, Essex. Works will also include: — earthworks; — drainage; — provision of utility services (water, waste water disposal electricity, and communications); — civil and M&E works; — provision of access road, passing places and car park; — construction of two range control buildings and a troop shelter; — ecological works; — archaeology surveys; — further EOD clearance and EOD response; and — demolition of existing range buildings. The NEC 3 form of contract will be used. The contract strategy will be design and construct.
