Tender description

The Contracting Authority seeks to establish multiple contracts for the supply of pharmaceutical products for a UK stockpile of medicines for Covid-19 preparedness. The Department of Health and Social Care are managing the procurement on behalf of Public Health England. The Department of Health and Social Care intend to run a procurement exercise to source pharmaceutical products for a UK stockpile of medicines for Covid-19 preparedness. The stockpile will intensive treatment unit medicines, end of life care and antibiotics. The UK stockpile tender exercise will be performed through the online application Atamis Procurement software. The UK tender is following an open accelerated procedure with a 15 day completion time frame. The contractual period is proposed for 12 months with the option to extend annually for 2 further years. The UK tender is a stockpile tender where it is proposed that 46 products in 53 presentations will be tendered as 46 lots and to be purchased by Public Health England on behalf of DHSC. Full evaluation criteria is detailed within the ITT documentation - failure to return requested information may result in bid commissions being rejected as non-compliant.
