This notice relates to the establishment of the National Welsh Language Technologies Network NATIONAL WELSH LANGUAGE TECHNOLOGIES NETWORK The Language Technologies Unit at Bangor University is establishing a new National Language Technologies Network for the Welsh language. The aim of the network is to bring together academics, people from industry, the public and anyone with an interest in Language Technologies to promote research in the field, especially for Welsh and other less resourced languages. The network will advertise relevant events, including conferences, workshops and information exchange opportunities in Wales, and members will have the opportunity to meet each other at these events. It is hoped that the network will increase activity in the field, and encourage new research and industry projects. Organizations, companies and individuals are welcome to join the Network.
