NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (AGCSU) on behalf of NHS England and NHS Improvement East of England would like to inform potential bidders of a market engagement event to be held on Wednesday 5 August 2020 at 12.30 pm-2 p.m. via Microsoft Teams for the procurement of APMS Services. Please note the deadline for the market engagement responses is by 5 p.m. on Tuesday 4 August 2020. The following are the services to be procured: List sizes at 1 April 2020 St Neots Health Centre, 24 Moore’s Walk, St Neots, Cambridgeshire, PE19 1AG Actual list size: 5058/weighted list size: 4614.12 Botolph Bridge CHC, Sugar Way, Peterborough PE2 9QB Actual list size: 7201/weighted list size: 6120.35 The Willow Tree Surgery, Orton Goldhay, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, PE2 5RQ Actual list size: 6628/weighted list size: 5214.74 The key objectives of the Procurement are to commission services that serves the patients within St Neots and the surrounding area of Cambridgeshire, and the Woodston and Orton areas of Peterborough and ensures a continuity of service provision, for the following sites: St Neots Health Centre, 24 Moore’s Walk, St Neots, Cambridgeshire, PE19 1AG Botolph Bridge CHC, Sugar Way, Peterborough PE2 9QB The Willow Tree Surgery, Orton Goldhay, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, PE2 5RQ The contracts for these services are due to commence on 1 April 2021. TUPE may be applicable to the contracts. The commissioner are exploring the option to combine the two sites in Peterborough as they are geographically close to one another, this decision will be made before the publication of the tender and will, in part be informed by the feedback of the early market engagement. While this market engagement event will inform the commissioning of the services outlined above, the Commissioners would also like to use this opportunity to gather the views of providers who may be interested in other future opportunities. The Commissioners are seeking to engage with the market to gather the views of potential providers on various aspects of how the services should best be configured and organised. Potential providers are invited to provide their views and comments on the aspects of the service as outlined in the questionnaire. If your organisation is interested in providing APMS services in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough attending this event and responding to the market engagement questionnaire will enable you to inform the commissioning of these services and future opportunities.
