Project Description Swindon Borough Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake Door Entry Systems and Associated Works The contractor will be required to: • Installation of door entry systems • Installation of communal security doors • Upgrade of the communal lighting system • Decoration to internal communal areas • Flooring to internal communal areas Full details relating to the requirements are provided in the Tender documents. To participate, Suppliers will need to Register as a Supplier with ProContract, www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk , then Register an Interest before obtaining access to the tender documents. In the event of difficulties registering as a supplier, please refer to the System Administrator Proactis support team ProContractSuppliers@proactis.com Contract Period The contract will be for a 12 month period commencing 1st November 2019. The total value of this contract is approximately £423,000 for the contract term. The works will be split into 3 Lots, Lot 1 will comprise of decoration and flooring. Lot 2 will comprise of the installation of door entry systems, communal entrance security doors and an upgrade of communal lighting. Lot 3 will consist of all elements of work included in Lot 1 and 2. Lot 1 Decoration and Flooring £85,082.50 Lot 2 Door Entry, Lighting, Security Doors £337,917.50 Lot 3 All Elements £423,000.00 This is a competitive tender and a contract will be awarded to the organisation that is deemed to represent the most economical and advantageous tender. The Council's responses to these clarification questions will be uploaded as attachments on the project webpage attachments section. Therefore it is the Contractor's responsibility to check the site regularly for updates to clarifications, as you will not be advised when updates have been made.
