Tai Calon seeks to appoint one FIRAS Approved Contractor (Company & Installer) to Manufacture, Supply, Install & Certify 30 Minute Fire & Smoke Door Sets (complete door, frame and Glazed vision panel) within our Sheltered Housing Scheme in line with FIRAS, BWF Fire Door Alliance, and BM Trada Q-Mark & FIDS. All Door sets, Ironmongery, Seals, Closers & Glazing panels must be tested within a UKAS approved test house and materials to BS EN standards and are CE Marked. TCCH understands that the industry standard test means that only the door specifications put forward by the contractors/manufactures for test as a complete component will be eligible to be installed and should be correctly certified and labelled for traceability under FIRAS, BWF & BM Trada Guidelines and priced accordingly. The awarded contractor must ensure the Door Sets are designed so that they adhere to Building Regulations (current and amended) 2019 Fire Safety, Part B (All Applicable Parts) & Appendix C Fire Door Sets and Regulatory Fire Reforms Order 2005 & New Government standards in relation to testing & materials, installation and certifications.
