Tender description
Cambridgeshire County Council and Cambridge City Council invites quotations for the provision of a new First Mile Delivery service in Cambridge City Centre, using eCargo Bikes. We are seeking a provider to establish a new “First Mile Collection” service in Cambridge, using electric cargo bikes (eCargo Bikes). The service will entail collecting packages from city centre businesses by eCargo Bike, and consolidating them at a site on the outskirts of the City for collection by national couriers for onward travel and distribution. This is a brand new enterprise, which, after the provision of the bikes themselves, would need setting up and managing with minimal input from the local authority.
