Tender description
Supply of vehicle spare parts for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service including both generic after market and specialist/original equipment manufacturers' parts. Original equipment manufacturers spares will be required in order to maintain certain vehicles' statutory type approvals or in instances where a manufacturer holds design rights, patents, or other similar intellectual property in the supplies concerned and/or an original part is required for reasons of technical compatibility; as provided for in Regulation 43 (12)(a) of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015. The supply of OEM equivalent engine, clutch, transmission, and exhaust spare parts for all types of Scottish Fire and Rescue Service Vehicles. The supply of OEM and OEM Equivalent vehicle electrical spare parts for all types of vehicles used by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. The supply of OEM and OEM Equivalent body parts and accessories for all types of vehicles used by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. The supply of OEM and OEM equivalent steering, suspension, brakes and wheels spare parts for all types of vehicles used by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
